Rooted in the

Resilient Cactus

Opuntia takes its name from Opuntia ficus-indica — the prickly pear cactus — a plant that thrives where little else can, drawing life from arid soils across North Africa and the Mediterranean for centuries.

We cold-press the seeds of its fruit to bring you a single, pure botanical oil. Nothing added. Nothing taken away. Just one extraordinary ingredient, in its most potent form.

It takes approximately one ton of prickly pear fruit to yield just one litre of oil. That rarity is a reflection of its quality.

A Personal Devotion

Meet the Founder

Opuntia Rituals was born from a childhood memory of the Moroccan sun and the gentle hands of my grandmother. I saw how the prickly pear, a fruit that thrives in the harshest desert, offered a resilience that mirrored the women who harvested it. My journey back to these roots led to the creation of Opuntia. We don't just source oil; we collaborate with women-led cooperatives, ensuring that every bottle honors their ancestral wisdom and empowers their future. Sustainability, vegan integrity, and cruelty-free practices are not just labels to us, they are the values that shape every drop of our liquid gold.
